Rose Thorn Seed was crafted to remind us all to slow down and lean into the moments that wine has long been credited for. Share a “rose”, a “thorn”, and a “seed” of your day over a glass of our most loved grapes, grown by our longest grower partner at La Pradera Vineyard. This chillable, medium-bodied red blend is fruity with cinnamon spice, refreshingly aromatic, and friendly alongside savory dishes, glazed meats, vegetables, and even a touch of spice!
Drink now to five years.
Each vintage for the last few years, our Dell Valley Cabernet Franc is one of the wines that seems to disappear first. Surprisingly consistent for desert-grown wine, these grapes show remarkable concentration and decadent aromatics despite some variations. The versatile Cabernet Franc grape brings both weight and freshness from this vineyard, with a distinctive savory character. A firm wine, but refined, with roasty coffee, fruit, and tomato aromas that will naturally match any grilled meats, mushrooms, halloumi cheese, or fajita veggies.
Drink now to nine years.

Grown in the high desert of Far West Texas, this Malbec is made powerful and fruity by high sunshine, frigid nights, mountainous terrain, and water scarcity. This wine is proof that the practice of extreme viticulture results in wines which are equally as dynamic! Our first ever Dell Valley Malbec shows the depth and precision that comes from the right grape variety, the right place, and the right farmer. Expect a full body, a firm “grip”, and polished fruit and smoke aromas. Pair with a high protein or fat dish to bond with the intense tannins, and earthy, smokey, or gamey flavors to balance the juicy fruitiness of the wine.
Drink now to seven years.

This distinctly Italian grape variety is gradually becoming one with the Texas landscape, where sunny growing seasons on an elevated platform coax out generous fruit, color, body, and tannins. The joke of this particular vineyard is that its name stands for “tall hill,” which seems a bit generous when you stand in front of the short slope that leads barely a few feet up to the top of the so-called hill. But make no mistake – there is definitely something special about the vines planted there! One of Texas’ most lauded vineyards and grape varieties, Alta Loma Sangiovese brings spice, structure, and indulgence in a food-friendly wine. Meat lover’s pizza, grilled sausage, mozzarella, roasted tomatoes with herbs, and more will tease out the wine’s natural freshness.
Drink now to eight years.
