Tasting Notes
A meaty wine, with the savory characteristics of Mourvèdre. Aromas of steel, wild red berries, charred red plum, bay leaf, and birch are balanced by slowly unfolding notes of fresh linen and potent white flower. Dry, yet pleasantly round with a lingering finish of cherry preserves.
Winemaking
100% Mourvèdre
Picked multiple times over 3 weeks and fermented in large oak tank. Aged for 17 months in 15% new French oak barrels and 85% neutral barrels. Bottles with a splash of Roussanne for aromatics.

Both sites are dedicated to grapes that can grow sustainably in the semi-arid conditions of the Texas High Plains.
