Tasting Notes
Fruit-salad aromas, but nicely dry on the palate. This wine takes on more weight and impact as it opens up. Decant to fully appreciate the wine's punch, orange, and cream aromas beneath the red and tropical fruit aromas. The alcohol is well balanced by modest, plush tannins.
Winemaking
The grapes were co-fermented together in stainless steel tank for 15 days. Aged in 20% new French oak barrels and 80% neutral barrels for 16 months.
Food Pairing
Pair with grilled meats, especially juicy cuts. Pork chop and a mushroom sauce or a hearty pot roast.
