Tasting Notes
On the nose are notes of ripe strawberries, raspberries and candied cherries layered with savoury hints of oregano, tomato paste, beef stock and tobacco leaf with a minty freshness running through it. The tannins are smooth and polished, with dried fruits and baking spices coming to the fore on the palate.

The Vineyard
AVA: Texas High Plains

The Texas High Plains is the second-largest designated grape-growing region in Texas, spanning 8 million acres, yet it is responsible for the majority of the wine grapes grown in the state. A rare set of growing conditions makes this area unique. On a vast flat plain, the vineyards reach elevations of 3,000 and 4,000 feet, resulting in very balanced wines.
