Tasting Notes

Crystalline in color, but don't let that fool you. The nose has rich, ripe strawberry, raspberry, cherry, and a pleasant candied component. The wine freshens up as you swirl it, and soft, sweet basil notes emerge with a hint of hickory! The palate is dry yet fruity, finishing with a tart kiss.

Winemaking

Fermented separately in large oak fermenters for an average of 15 days. Aged in 100% neutral French oak barrels for 14 months.

Food Pairing

This wine begs for food, from fish to chicken, spreadable cheeses, and barbecue!
