Tasting Notes

Ripe red fruit and baking spices open up the nose, typical for this grape variety. Soft red strawberry, raspberry compote, and a touch of red plum are complimented by cinnamon stick and cardamom. On the palate, the wine feels refreshing at a slightly cooler temperature. Dry.

Winemaking

Fermented in large oak fermenter. Aged for 16 months in 100% neutral French oak barrels.

Food Pairing

Pair with a hearty pot roast, turkey leg, falafel and spiced potato-based dishes.
