Hye Estate was planted in 2012 as part of the William Chris Vineyards in Hye, Texas. Previously a turkey farm, the land is now a nitrogen-rich clay-dried river basin over limestone bedrock. Since then, Hye Estate has been dedicated to grapes that are successful in the southwest of France.
Elevation: 1,450 ft. Soil: Riverbed, limestone, nitrogen-rich. Age of vines: 7-9 years.
