Tasting Notes
Intensely aromatic with tobacco, black tea leaf, espresso bean, raspberry and blackberry pie, fresh violet and bell pepper. The palate opens with intense tannins - green and age-worthy - making way to dried herb, black pepper and smoke notes. Perfectly balanced acidity.

The Vineyard
Dedicated grape-growers Erika and Cam Cambell farm their 17 acres of vines in the low desert just outside of the city called Sonora. These pioneers of growing grapes in this area have consistently provided quality Syrah and Tempranillo from High Cross Vineyard, and the cool nights matched with hot days and little rainfall give these grapes their very own taste of Texan terroir.
Elevation: 2,000-2,200 ft. Soil: Clay loam over fractured limestone. Age of vines: 21 years.
