The Vineyard
AVA: Texas Hill Country
Situated near the Colorado River, Hoover Valley benefits from various microclimates with a constant breeze and sits atop decomposed granite soils unique to the valley. This is considered by many to have the highest quality fruit in the Hill Country AVA, and for that reason William Chris seized the opportunity when the vineyard became available in 2021. This is now the largest estate vineyard for William Chris Vineyards, having full control from farm to bottle of 11 varietals over 55 acres.
Hoover Valley Vineyard, Burnet County, Texas Hill Country AVA. Soil Type: Decomposed granite.
