Tasting Notes
Gravel and smoldering herbs muddle with currant and cola, layered in with cream, anise, and cracked pepper. All on a bed of velvety fruit. The palate is a refreshing sip of cream and blackberries on a dry, dusty tannin mouthfeel. Full-bodied with a tart lingering kiss of a finish.

The Vineyard
AVA: Texas Hill Country
Formerly Hoover Valley Vineyard, Uplift Vineyard was renamed to represent the spirit of our industry, as well as the ancient geographical feature called the Llano Uplift where it is located. This feature is a product of magmatic eruption and then erosion that exposed the hardened granite and mineral beneath, which appear uplifted as a result. These 55 acres of southern French and Mediterranean grape varieties were planted in the Hoover's Valley in 2013.
Elevation: 1,500 ft. Soil: Decomposed granite with sandy loam pockets, and mineral. Vines planted in 2013.
