Tasting Notes

"The nose is dark and fruit-forward with a hint of mocha. The palate shows good natural acidity but also good deep fruit making for a quintessential medium-bodied American red wine." — VinePair (92 points)

Winemaking

Fermented partially in an oak fermenter and a stainless steel tank. Aged separately for 14 months prior to blending, then for an additional 6 months in small French oak barriques, 35% new.
