The Vineyard
Sutton County
After leaving the newspaper business, Erika and Cam Campbell planted their 17 acres of vines in the low desert just outside of the city called Sonora. When the Syrah from "Bill's Block" became available in this middle-of-nowhere vineyard, it was the quality that blew us away. This land of cool nights, low rainfall, hot days, and unique soil creates the perfect balance of acid and tannins.
