The Vineyard
AVA: Texas Hill Country
Frio Canyon Vineyard was established in 2008 by Tim Leach. Almost 18 acres are nestled among the slopes of Frio Canyon, in soils that provide great drainage to the French and Spanish varieties that are planted there. The Texas Hill Country is the largest AVA in Texas, spanning 9 million acres in the heart of Texas.
