Winemaking
The artistry of three disciplines comes together for the Artist blend. It starts in the vineyard, is created in the cellar, and finishes with a beautiful work of art. Over 100 submissions were entered, and “La Vigne Vivante” by Sarey Lowery was selected for the 2019 vintage. The wine is a Texas take on classic GSM is composed of 47% Grenache, 32% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre, and 6% Tannat, giving is multiple layers of flavors like cardamom, rawhide, pepper, smoked meats, and tobacco with proper tannins and character.

AVA: Texas Hill CountryThe Vintage Press Vineyard is located just down the road from the Hye estate in Stonewall, Texas. This Hill Country AVA Vineyard was planted in 2017 by Doug Wilcox and Johnny Sanchez.
