Aged 26 months in 5% new French oak.  A deep purple hue with intense notes of leather, cassis, baking spices, black cherry, plum, date, cardamom, dried blueberry, and wild strawberry.

Only 100% Tannat was used from the Hye Estate. Oak fermented and aged

A powerful wine than can handle powerful and spiced foods. Smoked meats
and spicy sausages pair well, as well as strong blue veined cheeses like Stilton
and Roquefort.
