Fermented in French oak barrels. Aged for 22 months inn 20% new French oak barrels and 80% neutral French oak barrels.

Texas Hill Country AVA

Bell Mountain was the first Texas-contained American Viticultural Area in the state, established in 1986. Ten years later, the 30 acres of Granite Hill Vineyards were planted, making up over one-fifth of the acres planted at the high semi-high altitude in the region. The grape varieties planted there are the hardy varieties that grow in coastal Bordeaux and white Trebbiano.
