Tasting Notes

Candied cherries, vanilla, brown sugar, and sage lead the nose. On the palate, sage and orange peel meld with the fruit. Enjoy now or allow the wine to mature through 2016. Best served at 64 degrees F.

Winemaking

Aged 14 months in 33% first and second-year American oak, 29% second-year French oak, and 38% first-year Eastern European oak.

Food Pairing

Lamb and gamier dishes with rich sauces.
