We’re honored to share that William Chris Vineyards has been named one of the World’s 50 Best Vineyards, earning the No. 31 spot among the most celebrated wine destinations across the globe and becoming the first and only Texas winery ever to make the list.
This recognition is a milestone for Texas wine and a testament to the heart, grit, and craftsmanship of the growers, families, and communities who make this work possible. Join us for an elevated gathering that offers a first look into Katharine’s story and life as a winegrower’s wife. Through personal reflections and candid conversation, Katharine will share her experience as a winegrower’s wife and the wines that have become her favorites. Winemaker Tony will lead guests through a featured blend, offering insight into its creation and the craft behind the bottle.

In 2008, William Chris Vineyards was born in Hye, Texas. Utilizing Old-World winemaking techniques, Chris and Bill sought to create a genuine expression of Texas’ distinctive grape-growing regions. Our approach is founded on the idea that great wines are not made, but grown. Each new vintage seeks to provide a level of quality wine that represents the very best of Texas terroir.
