In Gillespie County, Cassondra and Craig Fovel planted Cabernet Sauvignon in 2012. Now managed by family members Marilyn and Paul Fovel (and vineyard dog Kaizen) their couple of blocks in the heart of the Texas Hill Country is expanding. Between increasing the lengths of their underground irrigation, and diversifying their plantings, the Fovel's are hands-on with their growing.
