2022 Mourvedre, Dell Valley Vineyard

Aromas of boozy cherry, strawberry rope, prune and rhubarb pie come quickly on the nose. Potpourri trims the edges alongside nutty walnut shavings notes. The palate is full-bodied with ripe full tannins balanced by a dried fruit finish. A sweet earthiness comes out with decanting.

100% Mourvèdre

Fermented in stainless steel tanks for 10 days. Aged in 100% neutral French oak barrels for 16 months.

Sitting outside of any currently designated American Viticultural Areas, or AVA, this vineyard is mightily tended by Phillipe, whose experience with growing grapevines began at an early age on the French island of Corsica.

Sitting outside of any currently designated American Viticultural Area, or AVA, this vineyard is mightily tended by Phillipe, whose experience with growing grapevines began at an early age on the French island of Corsica. Age of Vines: 7 years. Soil Type: Sandy loam over caliche with river rock. Elevation: 3,750 ft.
